Admissions Policy

Itineris Early College High School operates under an open admission policy as all Utah public schools.

Itineris is an equal opportunity provider and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, disability, or age in its programs and activities.

Any interested student should contact the school and request the application materials necessary to complete the process below. The application process must be completed by the due date listed on the application forms. Any application received after the due date will not be considered until all timely applicants have been placed.

Admission Process

1. Attend an information event. 

2. Complete and submit a Student Application (available at an information event) by the February deadline.

3. Participate in Salt Lake Community College Accuplacer testing. 

4. Provide transcripts for all accredited high school course work completed in grades 9 and 10.

Additional Information

• Should the number of applicants exceed the school’s capacity, the school will follow guidelines established by the Utah State Office of Education in conducting a random lottery.

• Any applicant who is not selected in the random lottery will be placed on a waiting list in the order that their lottery number was drawn after the available positions are filled. This list will become the ordered list of candidates should an opening occur before the school year begins.

• Should an opening occur before the school year begins, applicants on the waiting list will be contacted in the order that their lottery number was drawn and will be offered admission.

Applications Received after the February Deadline

• Applications received after the February deadline will be placed on a secondary waiting list in the order of the date that the application was received.
